Current job opportunities

Communications Officer

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Development Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies or related fields.

  • 2-3 years of experience in communications, public relations, journalism or related fields.

  • Experience in development work is a major advantage

  • Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in managing websites, social media and content creation.

  • Graphic design skills (e.g., Adobe Photo)

  • Effective project management and organizational skills.

 

Program officer

(location: Luzon and Visayas)

  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Sociology, Rural Development, Environmental Science or related fields.

  • 3-5 years’ experience in agricultural development, rural development or related fields.

  • Experience working with NGOs, community organizations or government agencies.

  • Knowledgeable and with experience in plant breeding

  • Familiarity with diversified farming systems, sustainable agriculture and policy advocacy.

  • Experience with community-led development initiatives.

  • Strong technical knowledge of agricultural systems.

  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

 

Policy and Advocacy Officer

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields: Law, Public Policy, International Relations, Political Science, Development Studies or Social Sciences.

  • 2-3 years’ experience in policy advocacy, research or related fields.

  • Familiarity with NGOs, government agencies or international organizations.

  • Experience working with farmers' organizations, community groups or advocacy networks.

  • Excellent writing and communication abilities.

  • Effective advocacy and lobbying skills.

  • Policy analysis and development

  • Networking and partnership-building.

  • Familiarity with international agreements and treaties related to agriculture an advantage.
